“İÇ DOĞA”

Zuhal Baysar’ın “İç Doğa” adlı kişisel serisi 9 Nisan 2022 tarihinde CerModern’de izleyiciyle buluşuyor.

Sanatçı sergide yer alan resimlerinde bedenin çözünmesi ve dönüşmesini, içsel varlığa ait duygu durumlarını, bu durumların dönüşüp değişmesini doğanın kodları üzerinden ele alıyor.

Sanatçının ifadesiyle her canlının ölümü aynı zamanda yaşamı içinde barındırır. Doğa sonsuz bir ölüm ve yeniden doğuş döngüsünü tekrar eder. Sergideki çalışmalar bu düşünce temelinde iç dünyaya odaklanır ve doğanın döngüsünü insanın içinde arar.

Resimlerde çorak doğa manzaralarının yanı sıra vahşi hayvanlar duygu durumlarının yansımaları olarak görselleşir. Beden, sanatçının daha önceki çalışmalarında olduğu gibi hayvanlar aracılığıyla ve bu sefer doğa görüntülerinin de katkısıyla dönüşüme uğrar, saydamlaşır, çözünür. “İç Doğa” sanatçının 2020 yılında açmış olduğu “Av Mevsimi” sergisinde ele aldığı temel yaşamsal kodların bir adım ötesine geçerek, insanın içsel varlığına odaklanır. İnsanın kendi içinde kendini besleyerek yeniden ve yeniden oluşumu, kendini yıkarak çözünerek yeniden var etmesi serginin ana karakterini oluşturur. Sanatçının resimlerinde otofaji merkezinde görselleşen durumlar ve sergi genelinde dönüşümün ve çözülmenin sonsuz tekrarlayan bir süreç olarak ele alınması, antik çağlardan beri yaşamın sonsuz döngüsünün simgesi olan “ouroboros”u ve beraberinde katharsis kavramını da serginin odağına yerleştirir.

“INNER NATURE”

Zuhal Baysar’s solo exhibition named “Inner Nature” will meet the audience at CerModern in April 9, 2022.

The artist discusses the dissolving and transforming body, emotional states of inner existence and changing and converting of those states through the codes of nature.

As stated by the artist, death of every living creature contains life in itself. Nature repeats itself with infinite death and rebirth. Based on this idea, the works in the exhibition focuses on inner nature and looks for the circle of nature inside human beings.

In the paintings, wild animals as well as barren nature scenes are visualized as reflections of their emotional states. As in the artist's previous works, the body undergoes a transformation, becomes transparent and dissolves through animals and this time with the contribution of nature images. “Inner Nature” focuses on the inner existence of human beings by going one step beyond the basic vital signs that the artist focused in the exhibition named “Hunting Season” that had been opened in 2020.  Re-creation and re-creation of human beings by fueling themselves, and making themselves by destroying and dissolving themselves composes the main theme of the exhibition. The states visualized in the artists paintings that are revolving around autophagia and the consideration of the transformation and dissolution as endless repetitions, centralize the “ouroboros” which is the symbol of the eternal circle of life since ancient times and the concept of catharsis concomitantly.

The exhibition will be visited until May 20.
