İNSANLIĞIN ORTAK DİLİ: SANAT

Sanat insanlığın ortak dilidir. Günümüzde görsel sanatlarda ortaya çıkan evrensel paylaşım bunun çarpıcı bir yansımasıdır. Bu dilin yaygınlaşması insanlığın ortak değerlerinin de tekrar keşfedilmesine katkı sağlamaktadır.

Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası sahip olduğu kurumsal ve sosyal sorumluluk anlayışı çerçevesinde gerçekleştirdiği kültürel ve sanatsal etkinlikler kapsamında kurumsal tarihinde ilk defa uluslararası bir fotoğraf yarışması düzenlemiştir. Her yıl farklı bir tema oluşturarak gelenekselleştirilmeyi hedeflediği yarışmanın ilk teması “Ekonomi ve İnsan” olarak belirlenmiştir.

Sanatsal faaliyetlerin genişletilmesi, ulusal ve uluslararası platformda fotoğraf sanatı ve sanatçılarının desteklenmesi amacıyla düzenlenen yarışmaya büyük bir ilgi gösterilmiş ve otuzu aşkın ülkeden beş bine yakın fotoğraf ile katılım sağlanmıştır. Tüm eserler, fotoğrafçılık dünyasının önemli sanatkârları olan beş jüri üyesi tarafından uzun ve dikkatli bir değerlendirme sürecine tabi tutulmuş, 10 fotoğraf ödül almaya, 100 fotoğraf ise sergilenmeye değer bulunmuştur. Bu sergi  vasıtasıyla öne çıkan 110 eser sanatseverlerin beğenisine sunulmuştur.

COMMON LANGUAGE OF HUMANITY: ART

Art is the common language of humanity, which is strikingly manifest in the current sharing of visual arts on a universal scale. Spreading this language also facilitates the re-discovery of common values of humanity.

With an institutional and social responsibility approach, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey holds cultural and artistic activities. Among these activities, an international photography contest is a brand new one within the Bank’s institutional history. The goal is to organize this contest every year under various themes and make it traditional. The first theme of this contest is “Economy and Human Being”.

With its aim to broaden artistic activities, supporting the art of photography and photograph artists both on the national and international platforms, this contest held satisfactory appeal and attracted around five thousand photographs from more than thirty countries. All pieces were meticulously evaluated for a long time by five jury members, who are prominent artists of the world of photography. At the end of this evaluation process, 10 photographs were awarded and 100 photographs were selected for exhibition. 110 pieces that stood out were presented to art-lovers through this exhibition.
